Emphasizing democracy may have cost the Democrats the election. Doubling down on their narrative may lead to the final implosion of the party.
Democracy creates a feedback loop where the electorate hears the political class’s (elite) narrative, analyzes it to determine its relatability, costs, and benefits, and disposes of it when the electorate determines that they do not relate to the narrative, and that the burden share of the cost of implementing the narrative is too high.
Democracy practiced at its optimum eliminates elites. When practiced at its optimum, democracy reflects minimum information asymmetries. This means that the electorate has access to multiple information sources and processes the information within their value systems and paradigms. As thoughts, ideas, and values are exchanged, a large political language model is built; a commons, if you will. A swarm of political intelligence.
Just like 2016, the Democrats failed to incorporate the political intelligence on the ground into their messaging. They chose to disregard the voices of the non-degreed, preferring to label this group with the pejorative term, “uneducated.” It appears that the truly uneducated were the Democrats who led the campaign and provided their candidate with poor counsel.
To summarize, you can’t try to sell beef in a neighborhood of vegans and expect a profit.

The Campaign for Real Money
I have launched an advocacy campaign called “The Campaign for Real Money.” This campaign calls for the Congress to recognize individually issued currency backed by valuable assets and bank issued currency backed by valuable, employment-creating assets.
The United States’ monetary policy encourages the issuance of deflated dollars based on the issuance of IOUs backed by no productive value. If the United States is to maintain a currency that attracts investors, while competing against the currencies of resource-based countries, the U.S. must issue currencies backed by real money, by productive energy.
The cost of advocating before Congress and the Executive branch is expensive. Your donations will allow me to provide the most effective advocacy. Thank you for your support.
